Finished Gormenghast a few days ago
and watched the BBC mini series adaption made in 2000 of both books which was really interesting, I mainly watched it to see how they had interpreted it and how they condensed the storyline and what plot points they kept.
I enjoyed Jonathan Rhys Myers as Steerpike :) even if he is a little bit wrong.
In addition to this I’ve been thinking of ideas for my final major project disseration which is based around ‘Escapism’
